Occupational Safety Management
The ultimate objective of the occupational safety management is to
increase attention in safety and health within the company and therefore prevent accidents. In light of
this, the company conducts various activities as the following.
Amkor Technology Korea is creating a safe workplace by preventing safety
accidents by continuously discovering and managing risk factors and complying with safety laws and
regulations by all employees voluntarily participate.
PreSafety Evaluation
Voluntary pre-inspection and safety management are carried out through
the work permit system for dangerous work such as flammable, hermetic place, high place, heavy equipment
work, etc. in the workplace.
Safety Guard Activities(Safety Patrol)
Through Daily inspection and improvement activities, the site-centered safety
management is carried out to ensure that the workplace is always safe.
Risk Assessment
Risk assessment is conducted regularly and frequently by each department to
identify and improve potential risk factors and process problems to prevent safety accidents, and to
maintain this autonomous safety management system to obtain ISO45001 certification.
Emergency Evacuation Training
As in the actual situation, emergency evacuation drills are conducted twice a
year to minimize human and property losses by supplementing and developing smooth evacuation and disaster
preparedness in case of an emergency.
Safety Culture
Amkor Technology Korea conducts various safety and health promotion
activities to create a safety culture in the workplace and conducts various activities so that its partner
companies can have the same level of safety awareness.
Safety and Health promotion activities
In addition to the legal main points, we continue to promote traffic and
life safety matters to arouse employees' safety awareness.
Symbiotic Cooperation Program
We participate in the symbiotic cooperation program implemented by the
corporation every year so that our contractors can have the same level of safety and health and awareness as
Amkor Technology Korea.(*Results for 2021 : Grade “A”)
Contractor Health and Safety Council & Group Inspection
In order to improve the safety and health skills/level of contractors,
the contractor and the parent company conduct council and Group Safety inspections together once a month to
provide safety and health human/material resources to the contractors.
Safety and Health Opinion Heard
The company establishes a safety culture in which employees give their
own opinions on safety and health at work, and the ESH team collects and improves their opinions.
