Amkor Technology Korea formed the TFT and conducted various activities within the R&D, production, equipment, and facility departments in order to assure the ultimate energy consumption. In a short term, the company effectively operates utility facilities. In the long term, the company is involved in various activities that can improve manufacturing conditions and gradually reduce energy consumption such as temperature/ humidity adjustment and effective equipment arrangement in the assembly lines. Furthermore, the company uses power-saving lights and reuses gas energy which is discharged through boiler pipes. These activities are actively implementing corporate environmental responsibility to ultimately reduce greenhouse gases(GHG) and reduce the impact of climate change.
